Indian sports technology is gaining global recognition as Delhi-based startup Stupa Analytics secures approval from the Badminton World Federation to deploy its indigenous Instant Review System (IRS) at international tournaments. Designed by Indian machine learning engineers, the system can determine line calls within 20–30 seconds with more than 99% accuracy, meeting the federation’s strict certification standards. The development places Stupa alongside established technologies such as Hawk-Eye, long dominant in sports officiating.
