Gukesh in the penultimate round, securing his third consecutive classical victory. The win leaves Praggnanandhaa just half a point behind tournament leader Wesley So heading into the final round. Meanwhile, Alireza Firouzja kept his championship hopes alive by defeating Vincent Keymer in Armageddon. With three players still mathematically in contention, the prestigious tournament is set for a dramatic finish in Oslo.
