India’s rising chess ecosystem has produced yet another prodigy, as 10-year-old Aarit Kapil achieved a historic milestone by becoming the youngest Indian to secure an International Master (IM) norm. Competing at an international tournament in Menorca, Spain, Aarit clinched the landmark after drawing his final-round game, capping a performance that included a notable victory over a former world junior champion.
